We are also offering Functional Skills for Maths and English Level 1 & Level 2 in the Kirklees Area; the course will be online and not face-to-face. The participant does need access to a laptop, or tablet that has access to microphone and camera.

Politics Project - free training workshops
Gamifying Democracy - 10.30-12.30 - games and activities you can use in youth settings to start conversations about politics and democracy. Designed for group settings in informal spaces, these games help young people explore their power, voice and their ideas for change.
Exploring Elections - 1.15-3.15pm - will help youth workers spark meaningful conversations about politics with young people and break down how local elections work, in the lead up to the May 2026 local elections.

FREE Humanitarian Education Programme - British Red Cross
The British Red Cross is currently piloting a Humanitarian Education Programme designed to support youth workers in teaching important global topics such as war and conflict, first aid, migration, climate adaptation, and resilience.
This fully-funded programme includes free CPD courses, engaging resources, and ongoing support – all aimed at helping educators confidently explore these topics with young people aged 11–18.
