CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) are running a free ongoing online course teaching the skills needed to not only become more understanding and self-aware of your own mental health, but to support others with theirs.

KYA has bought a year's subscription to online training provider, Flick Learning, and is inviting members to register their staff and volunteers for a user login. We have 75 user logins available.

Leadership and Management Skills Bootcamp

The Textile Centre of Excellence is running an 11-day (once a week) Leadership and Management Skills Bootcamp starting on 8th January. It's £340 or free if you're currently unemployed.

Politics Project - free training workshops

Gamifying Democracy - 10.30-12.30 - games and activities you can use in youth settings to start conversations about politics and democracy. Designed for group settings in informal spaces, these games help young people explore their power, voice and their ideas for change. 

Exploring Elections - 1.15-3.15pm - will help youth workers spark meaningful conversations about politics with young people and break down how local elections work, in the lead up to the May 2026 local elections.

Faith-based Youth Work Conference

The Regional Youth Work Unit are hosting an event for anyone that works in faith-based youth work settings. This meeting will be joined by the DCMS to explore the new National Youth Strategy.
